English Karen was a member of Belfast.pm but now lives in Japan. She still attends meetings at Birmigham.pm when she travels and hopes to get more involved with her local Perl Mongers group in Shibuya.
She is a member of the YAPC Europe Venue Committee and was a co-organiser of YAPC::Europe 2004. She is also on the TPF Steering Committee.
